Being a Tour Guide in the area for over 50 Years we have discovered a few points of interest that we highly recommend
to research to fully explore cajun country.
Bayou Ramble Tours are an all encumpassing day trip designed to give you a little bit of everything cajun.
Tours begin at Jean Lafitte Cultural Center. Where we have a private viewing of the saga of the cajun people in
their movie theater. A quick history tour through the rest of the museum.
We Then carry on to Vermillionville directly behind the center. There we tour 200 year old cajun homes in the cajun reinactment
folk park. We explore the roots and history of these great people. (On sundays they have live music!!)
We then have lunch at Cuisine du Mama.
After a quick pass through the gift shop, we head for the boat and have a bayou ramble down the river. We explore the
origional highway of the cajun people and expierence the beauty and nature of the bayou country.
We head south to Wa Weez on the River where we have a drink and get to view and play with baby alligators. We also have
a selection of authentic cajun appetizers there. Boudin and Crawfish.
Wrap it all up and we head home by 4 oclock.
Then back to tfreres for Coctail Hour!!

Cost is $65 per person for all day. Includes passes in to parks, lunch, snacks, 1 drink at wa weez, and boat ride. Total
time 4 hours. (sometimes more, depending on how much fun your havin!!)
